NBE PRESEASON BIG EAST POWER POLL

You know the college basketball season is upon us when it is time for the NBE writers and contributors to cast their votes for a power poll. Over the last several days the votes have been submitted. Most of the votes were cast prior to Syracuse opening up their season on Monday and before the Keon Lawrence news hit the wires, so for the most part, none of the events of the week influenced any of our esteemed voters.

It was one of the closest votes for the top spot ever and the team receiving the majority of the first place votes actually ended up coming in second in our voting. The top three teams seemed to be pretty consistent with our voters with the second trio also bunched up. There was a noticeable drop to #7 and then another big gap before #8, #9 and #10 placed in the voting.
